New HR Director Christine van Andel: 'Warm welcome in a thriving organisation'

Van Andel is the successor of Yvette Akkermans, who wanted a new challenge after several years at CHDR. I worked alongside Yvette for a few weeks, so it was a smooth transition. I experienced a warm welcome in this organisation, and I already feel at home here,' said Van Andel. She obtained a master's in international business from Maastricht University and then worked in several companies, including Accenture, Sanofi and ADP.

In 2018, she started her own business in female leadership coaching. 'I continue to do that one day a week, but I also really longed to be part of an organisation again. So when this opportunity came my way, I gladly took it.'

Van Andel thinks her experience in coaching and leadership may be of use in her current job: 'CHDR is a fast-growing organisation, and people and leadership development are both key strategic priorities.’
