Igor Radanović heads CHDR's oncology initiative
In September 2025, Igor Radanović was appointed as experienced clinical scientist with the goal to expand CHDR’s activity in the field of Oncology. Originally trained as a medical doctor in Zagreb, Croatia, Radanović first encountered CHDR’s work at a pharmacology conference in Kyoto, Japan, in 2018. Immediately fascinated by CHDR’s approach to studying pharmacodynamic endpoints in early-phase studies, he joined for a research rotation and soon chose to continue his career at CHDR. Since then, he has learned to speak Dutch, registered as a physician in the Netherlands, and worked on a variety of projects in immunology and neuroimmunology. He advanced his translational research expertise and helped shape CHDR’s emerging focus on oncology. Now, he is ready for the next step: ‘With my PhD thesis completed, it feels like the right time for a new challenge and taking on a broader responsibility to define CHDR’s oncology strategy.’
